    Scott Tucker Racing Level 5 Group Gets First For Le Mans
    Luis Diaz took the No. 055 Microsoft Office 2010-sponsored HPD ARX-01g towards the pole in an awe-inspiring way with a qualifying work for the Level 5 Motorsports group and owner, Scott Tucker Racing from Leawood, KS.

    Teammate Christophe Bouchut held the top spot with the No. 33 Microsoft Workplace 2010 HPD ARX-01g for the 15 minute prototype session. Bouchut was knocked out by No. 26 Signatech ORECA-Nissan in the closing minutes.

    Bouchut couldn’t get it with each other inside the final minutes from the race, but group member Diaz took this Honda-powered prototype towards the checked flag. It took the pole for that 2009 American Le Mans Collection LMP2 champion

    “It was a matter of having a clean lap,” Diaz stated. “The LMP1 cars did not make our lives especially easy. We had been surprised given that we know the speed from the Nissan, and to beat them here is extremely special. But the Level 5 guys did a great job with the car. They’ve labored about the clock in both Europe and right here to put together the cars. I consider this pole is great motivation for the race.”

    Diaz’s remarkable 1:12.335 lap time was extraordinary and beat out Nissan. That takes him and his co motorists Tucker and Marino Franchitti to key place to take the win at Saturday’s 10 hour endurance race.

    The No. 33 HPD in the meantime, is set to get the Petit Le Mans and Tucker and Bouchut are LMP2 championships with wins at Long Seaside, Highway The united states and Laguna Seca. A brand new team member, Portuguese ace Joao Barbosa, will join the group on Saturday.

    “I was not expecting to become in 3rd, to become honest, but we changed various points,” Bouchut mentioned. “Maybe I pushed also significantly at the get started, but when the Nissan took the pole, it was far too late for us. It's what it truly is, but it was beneficial for the team to nevertheless start off around the pole. We’re likely for your win tomorrow.”

    Tucker has had a pretty busy and successful record following his title win as 4 times driving champion at SCCA Nationwide Runoffs at Street America. He already had 3 wins in 5 starts.     The 14th annual Petit Le Mans powered by Mazda, the 1,000-mile/10-hour endurance race at Street Atlanta, is set for Saturday, Oct. 1. The race will air on ABC at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 2.
